The first chapters are a lot of anguish, then more anguish follows and… just prepare the handkerchiefs, and I already saw the first chapter of Ōoku and the truth was quite good. I would have liked to see more of Mizuno, but I'm happy for him. The truth was I was worried. Yes, there are some terrible customs in the private chambers. I also want to see what else Yoshimune-sama does.

I love Miyano Mamoru from Hakuouki’s Iba Hachiro 😭 So glad to hear him in Ooku too, arikoto ❤ For me, I like the prelude story more because of the freethinking female shogun. Can’t wait for next season!!!

I'm still halfway through watching the series and so far, I'm loving the journey. Diving in, I've already expected the narrative to be dark and sombre, but never had I expected it to be in such a deeper level.
I firstly thought arikoto himself was handsome but then I realized he was voiced by none other than Mamuro miyano 😇
