Snow Manの向井康二が9月と10月に上演される朗読劇『ハロルドとモード』に出演することが21日、発表された。
1971年にアメリカで公開された映画『ハロルドとモード』を舞台化した本作。ブラックユーモアを随所に散りばめながら、年齢差のあるちょっと変わった2人のラブストーリーと生きることの楽しさをコメディータッチに描いた作品だ。 主役の79歳のチャーミングな女性・モードを演じるのは、黒柳徹子。今年で4度目の上演となる。 向井が演じるのは、モードに恋する19歳の少年・ハロルド役。20年公演の生田斗真、2021年公演のジャニーズ WEST・藤井流星、22年公演のSexy Zone・佐藤勝利からバトンを受け継ぎ、新たなハロルドを作り上げる。 さらに、脇を固めるのは俳優の桜井日奈子、片桐仁、渡辺いっけい、戸田恵子といった豪華キャストが顔をそろえた。
