Good for him for not giving up! I’d assume he wasn’t injured, and I wonder if he might have tied his left skate too tightly, looking at how his Axel take offs seemed uncharacteristically imprecise and he couldn’t seem to correctly place his left toe pick. Or, perhaps he was just too nervous and rushed his take offs… Either way, his fundamentals are strong, and I see a great future ahead of him.
