いましろたかし原作の『化け猫あんずちゃん』が、ロトスコープの手法を採用しアニメーション映画化！
『リンダリンダリンダ』（05）、現在大ヒット公開中の『カラオケ行こ！』の山下敦弘監督。 多摩美術大学在学中に制作した短編アニメーション「Airy Me」が第17回文化庁メディア芸術祭アニメーション部門新人賞を始め多数の受賞、海外映画祭での上映にて一躍注目を集め、岩井俊二監督『花とアリス殺人事件』（15）にて23歳という若さでロトスコープディレクターに抜擢。アニメーション・イラストレーター・漫画家と各方面から熱い支持をうける気鋭のクリエイター久野遥子監督。 このふたりが「化け猫あんずちゃん」でタッグを組む。 そして、主役である「あんずちゃん」を演じるのは、『ほかげ』（23）『シン・仮面ライダー』（23）他、数々の話題作に出演し、俳優だけでなく多岐に渡るジャンルで国内外で唯一無二の活躍を続ける森山未來。
アニメーション制作は「シンエイ動画」、新進気鋭のフランスのスタジオ「MIYUプロダクション」が長編として初の日仏共同にてアニメーションを制作。

“Bakeneko Anzu-chan'', originally written by Takashi Imashiro, has been made into an animated film using the mouth toscoping method!
Directed by Atsuhiro Yamashita, who also directed “Linda Linda Linda'' (2005) and “Karaoke Go!'', which is currently being released as a huge hit. The short animation “Airy Me'', which he produced while attending Tama Art University, received numerous awards including the 17th Japan Media Arts Festival Newcomer's Award in the Animation Division, and received attention when shown at overseas film festivals, and was selected as director Shunji Iwai's “Airy Me''. At the young age of 23, he was selected as the rotoscoping director for “The Murder Case of Flowers and Alice'' (15). Directed by Haruko Kuno, an up-and-coming creator who enjoys enthusiastic support from animation, illustrators, and manga artists. These two team up in “Bakeneko Anzu-chan.'' The main character, “Anzu-chan'', will be played by a wide range of actors, including “Homoge'' (23), “Shin Kamen Rider'' (23), and many other popular works. Mirai Moriyama continues to be unique in her genre both domestically and internationally.
The animation will be produced by “Shin-ei Douga'' and the up-and-coming French studio “MIYU Production'' will produce the animation in the first Japanese-French collaboration as a full-length feature.
