I’ve watched the Ultra series for many years without leaving a single episode or a movie. I enjoy the heroic and selfless merits of ultras and their human host partners. When I hear this song I feel it vividly describes the true nature of an ultra’s human host. After merges with the ultra and obtains tremendous power, he strives to become stronger so he can protect the planet and the people he loves.

When he is eager for great power to defeat rampant enemies he always gets strong responses from the ultra hence he transforms and defeats enemies through a fierce battle. He knows the Ultra is guarding Earth from space. He entrusts his life to the Ultra since he merges with him when the invasion is beyond humans’ ability to resolve takes place.

As many battles go by, he experiences many harsh situations and overcomes countless perils. He comes to know the difficulties of being a human host and feels lonely since he conceals his identity as the human host from the public. No one realizes his thoughts and blames his abnormal behaviour such as escaping from the battlefield or abandoning missions when an emergency approaches. The truth is he has to escape from his partners because can’t transform in front of other people.

He hears the media criticize the ultra for causing destruction when battling giant monsters and the government is concerned whether the ultra is another threat to humanity. He feels great agony because no one understands what he has gone through and people are ignoring the huge sacrifice he has made to protect humanity.

Despite all the pressures he faces and a great sense of loneliness since all the actions and feelings are of himself to understand, his will is growing stronger and he is becoming more experienced in dealing with all tough situations as time goes by. He never loses his trust in humanity and keeps pursuing new abilities and more powerful forms so that he can better defend the earth. He is devoting his full undertaking to his destiny even though no one understands his heart other than himself.

ウルトラマン、ウルトラセブン、仮面ライダーを子供の時に見れたのはとても幸運だった。
少しでもズレていたらここまでの郷愁は感じなかっただろう。
良い国、良い時に生まれたと感謝しかない。
