映画『事故物件ゾク 恐い間取り』より、主演のSnow Man・渡辺翔太が、セットで作られた劇中に登場する“事故物件”の一つ【降霊するシェアハウス】の注目ポイントを解説するルームツアー映像が解禁された。
本作は、邦画ホラー史上最大級の大ヒットとなる興行収入23.4億円を記録し、社会現象になった『事故物件 恐い間取り』のシリーズ最新作。前作に引き続きメガホンをとるのは中田秀夫。原作は実際に事故物件に住み続ける松原タニシによる『事故物件怪談 恐い間取り』シリーズ（二見書房）。 映画単独初主演の渡辺翔太は主人公「事故物件住みますタレント」桑田ヤヒロを演じ、ホラー映画に初挑戦する。ヤヒロと引かれ合うヒロイン・春原花鈴役には畑芽育、ヤヒロが所属する芸能会社社長の藤吉清役を吉田鋼太郎が務める。
