ついにでたぁ。。。神。。。
Ahhh finally an exposure to a more global audience!!! This song was first released 24 years ago, in 2001, as the B-side to a single. Its lyrics are written by Tsuyoshi Domoto (guy in red on the left), music written by Koichi Domoto (blue on the right); usually, red is Koichi's member color and blue Tsuyoshi's.
However, the translation of lyrics here falls short in some places in terms of preserving nuances (imo)…. The very first part, for example, is supposed to mention "As if I were some delicate girl". Also, fun fact, this is the newly released version of the song; the part where they sing, "The ever changing love of ours, shining with strong (play on words with Tsuyoshi's name) brilliance (Koichi), once this winter passes, will become even more wonderful", is originally: "Your ever-changing figure is lovelier than any form; once this winter is also through, become even more wonderful, won’t you?"

顔立ちは光一くんの方が彫刻っぽいんだけど光一くんの方が表情が豊か過ぎて歌舞伎っぽくて剛くんの方が表情変わらなくて逆に彫刻っぽいの面白いな笑
声のタイプがこんなにも違うのに、このハマり方をするのは、2人の堂本が出会うのと同じくらい必然だと思う。

懐かしい。でも色褪せない。当時はアイドルってのでキャーキャーしてた位でちゃんと歌を聞いてなかった気がする…💦今改めて聞くと2人の正反対の声質なのにハモやユニゾンめちゃめちゃ綺麗✨歌声も変わらない!
ここ１週間、毎日聴きまくっていて、ファーストテイク来いと思っていた自分にとっては神タイミング！
