John Wick : Chapter 4 is an upcoming American neo-noir action thriller film which is serving as the direct sequel to 2019’s John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, as well as the fourth installment in the John Wick film series. Directed by Chad Stahelski, with a script co-written by Shay Hatten and Michael Finch, and based on characters created by Derek Kolstad, it is produced by Stahelski, Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee. Starring Keanu Reeves returning as the title character, the film is produced by Thunder Road Pictures and 87North Productions.
Production began on June 28, 2021, in Berlin and Paris, during the COVID-19 pandemic, with additional filming to take place in Japan and New York City. In October 2021, principal photography had officially wrapped.
Distributed by Lionsgate, the film is set to be theatrically released in the United States on March 24th, 2023. Originally set for release on May 21, 2021, the film was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Reeves’ commitments with The Matrix Resurrections.
Synopsis :
John Wick discovers a way to defeat the criminal organization known as the Big Table. But before he can win his freedom, he must confront a new enemy that has forged powerful alliances across the globe and is turning John’s old friends into enemies.

Sanada is a phenomenal actor and action star, I remember first watching him in the HK/Japanese collaboration flick, Ninja In The Den's Dragon (which is prime HK Action cinema) and thought he was incredibly talented and charismatic. I'm so happy that the guy has sustained a successful international career, he deserves it.
It seems the John Wick cast has wonderful, gentle, humble qualities. The bar is set by Keanu. ❤
I gained more respect after learning and watching Hiroyuki Sanada's older movies from his youth with Mr. Sonny Chiba. Very stoic and disciplined, such a humbling person. Highly recommend checking his movies from Japan
