EP2 of GQuuuuuuX (2025) re-enacts scenes from EP1 of Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) where the RX-78-2 Gundam first launched. The main differences is that Char Aznable (シャア・アズナブル) is the one piloting it instead of Amuro Ray (アムロ・レイ) & he fights a Guncannon while Amuro fought Zaku IIs.

I thought an alternate timeline that diverges based on who gets in the Gundam at Side 7 was a pretty easy concept to grasp but the comments reflect that some people are in fact pretty stupid lol

I know very little anout this version. So, this is an alternative timeline where Char gets the Gundam? So does Zeon just crush Earth with little effort? Because from what I know, Gundam, and the Whitebase crew were the only ones keeping the Earth force in the fight.
I admit that I criticized this designer of this Gquuux series, but I confess that I'm liking it
Actually, what Yoshiyuki Tomino planned from the beginning is, after Amuro's death (in the novelization), Char joined forces with the White Base crew and piloted the Gundam (RX-78-2, I think).
I think that is impossible since Char was a Zeon soldier. He needs more than a reconciliation with the White Base crew. That's difficult.
now all we need is Amuro try to hit colony with big ass meteor as final boss
