This 1998 Japanese TV movie is an atmospheric thriller, and I enjoy it immensely! It’s actually available on YouTube on the @newyork112 channel, and you can watch it here:

It is not subtitled, but the acting and action are so well done, that it is easy to understand, even if you have only rudimentary Japanese. [I am sure that there are nuances that I have missed, but I have also watched it many, many times LOL].
