今回は 「名建築で昼食を 大阪編」に登場した
神戸女学院大学をぶー太郎とご紹介します。
ヴォーリズ建築全体が「重要文化財・神戸女学院」の
名称で２０１４年に重要文化財に指定されました。
ウィリアム・メレル・ヴォーリズは、日本で近江兄弟社も設立し近江で
亡くなりました まさに日本に生涯を捧げた一生でした。
代表的な建築に関西学院大学、近江兄弟社中学校・高等学校
日本基督教団 大阪教会、池田町洋館街,神戸旧居留地３８番館
などがあります。

The entire Vories building is designated as an important cultural property of Kobe Jogakuin.
The name was designated as an important cultural property in 2014.
William Merrell Vories also founded Omi Brothers Co., Ltd. in Japan.
He passed away. He was a man who dedicated his life to Japan.
Representative buildings include Kwansei Gakuin University, Omi Brothers Junior and Senior High School
United Church of Christ in Japan Osaka Church, Ikeda Town Western-style Building Street, Kobe Old Settlement Building 38
And so on.
