第79回国民スポーツ大会「わたSHIGA輝く国スポ」の総合開会式が2025年9月28日、滋賀県彦根市の平和堂HATOスタジアムで開かれた。全国の選手団が一堂に会し、華やかな祭典を楽しむとともに、11日間に及ぶ本会期での健闘を誓った。

The general opening ceremony of the 79th National Sports Festival, “Wata-SHIGA Shining National Sports Festival,” was held at Heiwado HATO Stadium in Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, on September 28, 2025. Athletes from all over the country gathered together to enjoy the spectacular festival and pledge to do their best during the 11-day event.
