日曜劇場『ザ・ロイヤルファミリー』好発進も…目黒蓮“出し惜しみ”で視聴率急落の危機
妻夫木聡が主演を務める日曜劇場『ザ・ロイヤルファミリー』（TBS系）の第1話が10月12日に放送され、平均視聴率が世帯11.7％（ビデオリサーチ調べ、関東地区）を記録した。
競馬の世界を舞台とするドラマで、人間と競走馬の20年間の物語を描く壮大なストーリーが見どころ。妻夫木のほか、松本若菜、佐藤浩市、沢村一樹、黒木瞳など演技派がそろい、豪華俳優陣も見どころの一つとなっている。
日曜劇場作品らしく2桁スタートという上々の滑り出しを見せた『ザ・ロイヤルファミリー』だが、視聴率急落の可能性を秘めていると、他局の編成担当者が裏側を明かす。
「準主役級でキャスティングされた、Snow Man目黒蓮さんの扱いが物議を醸している。目黒さんはドラマの番宣や取材に多く参加しているが、現在まで演じる役が明かされていない。
第1話では、ナレーションを務めただけで、目黒さんが登場したのはラストに一瞬だけ見えた写真だけ。
一部のファンは『詐欺だ！』とSNSに書き込むなど、視聴者の期待を裏切った。次回予告にも目黒さんの登場はなかったので、だいぶ先の出番になるかもしれない」
