その男は「俳句探偵575」。本日も古今東西の芸事に精進するべく句会に参加した。美人句家の華恵先生（川津春）が主催する句会中に、作品の披講を務めていた若林が突然倒れた。
若林が倒れる直前に読んだ句「つる薔薇の 棘の…」は、俳人の間で読むと死ぬと噂されている呪いの句であった。
華恵先生と若林との間に一体何があったのか、和風探偵が〝呪いの句“の謎を解明するべくいざ出陣する。俳句探偵の鋭い洞察力によって、事件の真相が明かされるストーリーをお楽しみください。
“That man, Haiku Detective 575”
The man is Haiku Detective 575. Today, as always, he participated in a haiku gathering to hone his skills in arts from all times and places.
During the gathering, hosted by the beautiful haiku poet Hanae-sensei (Kawazu Haru), Wakabayashi, who was reciting a poem, suddenly collapses.
The haiku Wakabayashi recited just before collapsing, “The thorns of the climbing rose…”, was a cursed haiku rumored among haiku poets to be fatal to anyone who recited it. Having become involved, there’s no turning back; the Japanese-style detective sets out to unravel the mystery of the cursed haiku.
