NFL知っている人からすると、これ最近では普通かと。ミネソタのUSバンクスタジアム、SFのリーバイス・スタジアム、LAのSo-Fiスタジアムの方がすごいですよ。
これで競技見ること(サッカーじゃなくてアメフトですが)を一番に設計されていますからね。アメリカのスタジアム見るたびに国立競技場の設計変える、変えないで揉めてできた物とか同じ税金使うでもこんなに違う事(金額差はあるし、カウボーイズ側が支払っている部分もありますが)は何でかなと常に思います。因みに吊り下げスクリーンは三菱電機製。

こういう取材は大いに結構。日本のマスコミはアメリカの人気No.１プロスポーツはNFLだということを何故か伝えない。それは日本人プレーヤーがいないから記事にならないから。MLBは日本人が最近多く活躍するようになったから盛り上がっているが、NFLの比ではない。９月にもなるとNFLのレギュラーシーズンが始まり、余程のスキモノでない限りMLBのワールドシリーズは見ない。視聴率が違うのだ。サッカーともなると、アメリカでの人気はほとんどない。サッカー不毛の地である。

スポーツエンタメ興行の世界最高峰のアメリカではサッカーについてはまだまだ人気はイマイチだが、
アメフトが盛んなのでサッカー出来るスタジアムが立派です。9万人収容出来るそうです。羨ましかぁ~~~~っ🤨

(11:25) Jones: Welcome! Yes, we're so happy to have you here! Yes.
(11:31) Interviewer: Is this a new pitch?
(11:32) Jones: Oh my goodness, yes! This is brand new! We had to raise our stadium floor 28 inches and up to that level to make it bigger than an American football field. So we raised it up so it could, you know, allow for the corners to be built.
(11:52) So, our field for [the] Dallas Cowboys is *turf*. So we took all of that out and brought this grass in from Colorado and 18-wheelers *across the country*.

(13:09) Niki: Other than the grass, did you have to do other things for to prepare for this World Cup?
(13:14) Jones: Well, we did. We actually have just gone a several hundred million-dollar renovation for all the club spaces and all the media that will show the game and all of the sponsor elements, and everything in the game is all upgraded and new. So, we are ready!
(13:36) We hope that Japan makes it all the way to our last game here, so we're hoping for that. And we know the excitement is just gonna be electric. And that's what we hope everyone will experience, that they'll be really excited, that it'll just be all the energy in the air and hopefully a lot of success for Japan!

(15:06) I remember seeing videos last year, where they would clean up of all the trash and then they left origami birds in the locker room. I was like, "What the heck? That's so awesome!"
(15:15) So I think that's what one of the things that I'm most looking forward to this year as well.

I was born and raised in Arlington and used to go to J Gilligans on thursday nights to drink in college. I'm so proud to see this and all of the wonderful videos of Japanese fans enjoying my hometown. I plan to visit Japan one day to see my favorite locations from Tokusatsu shows and Daikaiju Eiga, and also to attend an NPB game!
