連続テレビ小説『舞いあがれ！』（NHK総合）の最終週となる「私たちの翼」が放送された。感動のフィナーレで舞台は2027年の未来へ、空飛ぶクルマ「かささぎ」が舞（福原遥）の操縦により五島の空を飛ぶ。現地やカフェ「ノーサイド」では、なじみの人々がフライトの様子を見守っていた。その姿からはかつての懐かしい出来事が次々と思い出され、心がじんわりと暖かくなる。振り返れば『舞いあがれ！』には、数々の魅力あふれるキャラクターが登場した。今回はその中からヒロインの舞となじみ深い役を演じた4人の俳優を取り上げたい。舞の幼馴染にして夫でもある貴司。演じる赤楚は、優しさあふれる笑顔から短歌作りに苦悩する表情まで、幅広い芝居で視聴者の心を掴む。爽やかな青年期の姿から、後半の落ち着いた雰囲気の中に漂う苦悩まで、どのシーンを取っても抗えない引力を感じた。
