This video is a rare and previously unreleased record of Great Priest Ryusho Kobayashi, known as the mentor who shaped Yusai Sakai Dai-Ajari.
A renowned monk of Mt. Hiei, Ryusho Kobayashi chants sutras at his own temple in response to my request. His voice carries a profound sense of devotion and leaves a lasting impression.
In this precious footage, his wife also appears — even more cheerful, warm-hearted, and deeply devout than the Great Priest himself.
She offers a heartfelt recitation of the nenbutsu and shares a brief but touching memory of Yusai Sakai Dai-Ajari from his lifetime.
