  1. He’s hated in Japan btw
This narcissist nepo baby is always arrogant and condescending towards other actors and fans. He’s just annoying

  2. It's a legitimate question, I don't understand why he answers like that. There are a lot of Japanese people who don't care about anime. For example, I'm Italian, and there are people in my country who don't eat pizza. Being Japanese doesn't mean you love anime, just as being Italian doesn't mean you necessarily eat pizza.

  3. Im glad he reminds people because I did NOT realize he played Enishi in Ruruoni Kenshin Ths Final and then speak full blown english as Zoro in Live action one piece

  4. A Japanese man born in America to Japanese parents. It worked out best for him because, growing up and going to American schools meant he got the best of both worlds so can get Japanese and American roles due to being able to speak both fluently. Guy cracked it.

  5. Tbh, being Japanese doesn't mean you have to love anime or you have watched One Piece. He's mostly teasing while saying he's Japanese anyway. I don't think he finds the questions annoying.

  6. Ok being for real, as much as I love Mackenyu, I think it's wrong to say that just because he is Japanese doesn't mean he watches anime or likes anime, I think that it's kinda racist, and that's it's wrong for him to say that, BUT that's just my thought on it, don't come after me, I love Mackenyu, but that's my opinion
